Ashley is southern California native having spent most of her adolescent years growing up in Temecula. Ashley gained an artistic eye at an early age. By age 10, she began taking art in school, and soon thereafter it became her passion. When Ashley reached high school graduation, she had become well versed in everything from art history to the laws of color.

Ashley found her passion for hair artistry and the industry while working at a salon as a receptionist. It wasn't long until Ashley realized that hair was an art medium that she could, and desperately wanted to apply her skills and abilities to.

Being a fourth generation hair stylist with deep Norwegian roots, Ashley had the opportunity to attend the Paul Mitchell partner school in Temecula and Paul Mitchell The School in Colorado Springs. It was the intense training she recieved that assited her in developing not only a deep love for the culture that being a part of the Paul Mitchell family represents, but a deep love of “painting” gorgeous color on beautiful hair as well as sculptung a precision haircut to compliment the color and to awaken ones natural beauty.

Recently Ashley was asked what are her biggest challenges in the salon to which she replied, “To me, there is no such thing as a challenge in the salon. I feel privileged to be able to be a day maker and help people feel their absolute best, even those who have tried to be their own ‘kitchen beautician’ with undesirable results. It’s nice to know that I have the skills and passion it takes to turn their ‘not so good’ experience into one that puts not only a pep in their step, but one in mine as well.”
