Nico’s creative energy has inspired and driven others, both future professionals and Professionals in our industry. At a very young age, working in salons, she knew the beauty industry is where she belonged.
From the beginning working as a make- up artist and freelance artist, for Benefit, Dior, Trucco, and others, her interest grew.
She began her career at Scott Cole and Toni and Guy Academies. Then become a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems, one year after Graduation.
Moving to California in search for more Education, and furthering her career; she began to work for The Paul Mitchell School in San Diego. She became a Colour Specialist within the first year working for the School and began working for the School's owner Robert Cromeans, the Global Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell, at his salon.
Working For Robert Cromeans, in his School and his salon for 4 years gave her a great opportunity to travel with the Paul Mitchell Show team, and learn from the best and one of the major Icon’s in the Industry. While working for the school system she obtained all of the hair colour, and cutting certifications and became a part of The Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy Team, one of ten stylist in the Nation that trained all of the instructors on Paul Mitchell Schools colour system. Befriending some more influential people she began assisting on photo shoots, for renown people such as Lucie Doughty, the Editorial Director for John Paul Mitchell Systems. She met great photographers, and began to build her book. She found herself in demand very quickly.
She decided to then move to Los Angeles in 2010 to take a position as Education Leader for the School in Alhambra and pursuing her dream to Freelance and share her passion for styling hair. Today, works between Los Angeles and San Diego Freelancing and Part time at Hair Body and Sol. As well as teaches styling to make up artists, for Margaret Kimura Cosmetic Academy in Los Angeles.
