Ryan says that sculpting hair is an art form and that every person has a special canvas to work on to create amazing new and exciting looks that makes hair dressing the most amazing and exciting lifstyle that he has ever had the pleasure to experience. Ryan stated that, "I am blessed to have the chance to create, sculpt, paint, cut, style and simply to make people feel confident and good on the outside and most important on the inside. Hair has saved my life!"
Originally from Arizona, was raised with my brother and cousins on the family cattle ranch in Duncan Arizona. Ryan rode and drove cattle till he was fourteen years old. It was in high school that Ryan found his artistic passions. Ryan spent a few years acting and playing drums and singing for a local band. It wasn't long until he knew he had to extend his artistic reach and moved to California. It wasn't long after that Ryan found a passion for cutting hair after cutting his own and a few of his friend's hair as a hobby. That sparked a new passion for art and a very successful career was born!
Ryan attended and graduated from the Paul Mitchell school in Temecula, California. After graduating his talents were immediately noticed by the co-owner of John Paul Mitchell Systems, Angus Mitchell. Ryan trained and worked along side Angus Mitchell at the Angus M. studio and was a stylist at the Angus M. salon in Beverly Hills. During his time the Angus M. crew Ryan worked countless fashion and hair shows over the years for Paul Mitchell and Angus M. It was working and training the stylists in Beverly Hills that Ryan fell in love with teaching and education. It wasn't long that Ryan was sought after to be an educator and learning leader at the very school he attended. Ryan also a member of the prestigious Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy team, where he gets to train the trainers in color and styling techniques. Ryan has a passion for cutting but has also fallen in love with and has such an amazing talent for color, it is beyond obvious that Ryan loves everything about hair and hair styling.
