Hi, I'm Kate! I was born in the Midwest, grew up in California and chose to go Colorado to attend Paul Mitchell the School in Colorado Springs. While attending The School (which is owned and operated by a former HBS stylist Micah McDougal) I made the dean’s list with honors in both color and cutting and was professionally certified in makeup through James Ryder. I started my career doing hair and makeup for various television shows and events. I have continued that at HBS assisting the owner, Beth, at Hair Body and Sol and at many professional eventsas well.
I love being a “day maker". It was at Paul Mitchell The School that I discovered what I love about being a “day maker”. I love taking the opportunity to make you as an Hair Body and Sol guest feel relaxed, comfortable and confident about your hair and your look. I have a passion for doing hair and making you look your very best, not just when you leave HBS but every day. I desire nothing more than to help you look and feel amazing while giving you a wonderful HBS experience.
I’m thankful to be working in this environment at Hair, Body & Sol. It’s a tight knit group of professionals and artists of whom I enjoy being a part of. Hair is my passion, making you feel beautiful is my honor.
