Wendy got her start in attending two Paul Mitchell schools, one in Jacksonville Florida, finishing her education at the Paul Mitchell school in San Diego. Being the wife of United States Navy Sailor, Wendy has had the opportunities to travel, learning about hair from within many locations around the US, having found their way here to San Diego with her husband and daughter, Wendy and her family has found a home in San Diego and at Hair Body & Sol.
"Years ago decided it was time to do something I felt passionate and excited about, I starting learning all I could about being the absolutely best hair artist I could be. My passions lead me to Hair Body and Sol", Wendy states. "Since graduating I’ve had the honor of working side by side with my mentor, whom I hold dear to my heart, the upmost talented National Color Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems, and 2010 NAHA Finalist, Beth Whitfield. Beth has guided me and helped me grow into the stylist I am today. I have soaked in so much creative knowledge from her over the past year from amazing cuts, coloring techniques, and styling, to be the best you have to learn from the best and I have done just that! With that being said, I am still continuing my education and experience from national hair shows and hands on classes with the top hair stylists in the business. I specialize in cutting, Mens cuts and womens. I pride myself on dedication and hard work no matter what the challenge."
